Sad day as a friend of ours here on Off passed away..
Judy,
She used to talk about her son, daughter-in-law and the birth of her grandson, little Paul, who she eventually took care of full time, as the mother of her grandson had died due to issues surrounding a heart transplant. . . very sad when I woke up yesterday to that news, I had met her a couple of times and she was a funny and very kindhearted human being, who most definitely is an angel now. . . too many of the people we know are dealing with cancer, may there be a treatment to cure it so that no one else has to bear such sadness. . .
Hugs, Laureen

Very sad ... I met her in Dallas at our first GTG ... she plyed everyone with chocolate martinis. She made everyone laugh there. She took in her son's girlfriend and baby. The young woman had a heart problem and needed a heart transplant ... Aime took care of her and the baby until the woman died. The little boy continued to live with her. Don't know what will happen to him now.
My thoughts with Aime's family. She lives on in our hearts.
Eileen.....you are right.... Aime was just the kind of person to help anyone out. I remember very well when her son's girl friend was with Aime and all they went through. I am concerned about her son and grandson too. I will continue to pray for them as well!
I also remember hearing about her at that gathering and how she supplied everyone with chocolate martini's. I am glad you have such happy memories of her. She was very special!!
Connie you are right, Aime is in heaven and we do have another angel to watch over our forum.
Prayers and hugs all around and let's all raise our glasses (maybe it will be the chocolate martini) in honor of Aime, her gallant fight against cancer, her warm spirit and giving to others. Happy memories arise and we all smile and give thanks for Aime. You will not be forgotten Aime. Just loved and remembered!
